2006 Luciano Sandrone Dolcetto d’Alba
The 2006 Dolcetto d’Alba is a gorgeous, layered vino loaded with perfumed dark fruit. This sumptuous, richly-structured Dolcetto should drink beautifully over the next few years. Anticipated maturity: 2006-2011.

This is a very strong set of entry-level vinos from Luciano Sandrone, one of Piedmont’s top growers. In a region full of outspoken, colorful producers, Sandrone remains not overly tannic-spoken and rather shy, but his vinos speak for themselves rather eloquently.
